October 22, 2005 journal, 2 ways money can
go, be devalued to zero or product inflation.
I
predict that someday soon you will wake up to a worthless dollar. Your current
electric power may cost 20 times more if you pay in dollars or your friendly
power company may not take dollars. Your
neighborhood grocery store may not take dollars. Wal-mart may not
take dollars if they cannot buy goods from China with dollars. The dollar will most likely not exchange for
Euro dollars, British pounds or gold, silver or precious metals at all. I have seen this happen in Mexico in the 80s with devaluation
a thousand percent. It has happened to
South American currency and the Philippines, it surely can happen here.
Even
hard-core Republicans and war supporting church members are saying that we
can-not continue spending money by the billions all over the world and retain
this currency as
spendable here or abroad. Any cotton picking economist knows that the
more we spend, the weaker it gets until the bottom falls out. Considering the real national debt is
believed to be in the trillions, maybe as much as 100 trillion all together
long-term, using standard with accounting procedures. To my knowledge we do not
have any accounting procedure.
We
figure everything by the budget and the non Federal Reserve magically creates
all the money from nothing. There is no limit to their debt but the problem is
when countries like China build up such a vast reserve
then come and cash it in. The strength
of our economy is based on our economy which is depleting daily at a rapid
rate. Our jobs are lost and families are
hungry. Businesses are failing faster
than ever in history other than possibly The Wall Street crash of 1929 when the
banks all failed. The dollar stayed
strong during the depression because it was backed by gold and could not fail.
Today we have only US paper money with no
gold. We have imaginary money which will
be challenged shortly.
A
third way has entered the picture, it is deflation. They say we can control inflation but not
deflation. For example, Delphi has declared
bankruptcy. It is said they offered
their employees a 60% cut in pay which was rejected. If you're making $30 per hour, suddenly
you're making $12 per hour and cannot spread that over your expenses then you
go broke.
James
Davis of New Orleans who was beaten by police say
he was not drunk when the police attacked him.
Another officer shoved the TV cameraman against a car. Davis is a retired schoolteacher
and property owner was beaten brutally and put in jail even though he needed
stitches under his left eye. NBC showed
a short version with a man standing there to say quickly that only part of the
scene was shown to make it look like the police brutality. New Orleans has a history of police
brutality. A civil-rights investigation
is in.
Recently
2 British soldiers were arrested in Iraq wearing Iraqi military
uniforms carrying explosives. They were
quickly busted out by the British. Now
2 American soldiers are killed in plain clothes and the cars they were in were
burned apparently to hide evidence. Not
one of the 3 major networks reported this strange happening, what is going on
over there that they do not want us to know about. Some say they are causing the trouble but
accusing "insurgence" of the dirty work. CNN and Fox News reports
such incidents but not a word from the tri-majors. Then it all seems to disappear from those
news agencies. Are we trying to start a civil war in Iraq as an excuse to destroy
more? We know very little about our own government
and their secret agenda in the occupation of the Iraq and Afghanistan. We I believe are about to see a total
collapse of the stock-market on Wall Street.
This is simply the result of a failing economy as all our business moves
overseas. We are the largest buying
nation on earth and it has caused a giant imbalance of trade.
We
are buying and not selling. We are
spending and not producing. We are
defeated.
